Here is my second crochet baby booties pattern! It's been awhile since I posted, I know. I've been experimenting with different types of baby booties and have come up with this latest one. This again, is a great project for anyone with a newborn baby or pregnant and expecting a baby.
I used Greenish/Blue 100% acrylic (4)worsted yarn to design them and then white yarn for the flower button.
This came out to be bigger then I expected, but it's still awfully cute to me. The camera doesn't do this color justice however, the shine off the yarn adds to the adorableness of this crochet design.
The top of the baby booties wraps around the front and the white flower button holds it together like a real button. I added a scallop top to finish off the design.
I'm going to be putting up patterns here within the next day or two so look forward to seeing them and making your own baby booties!

Classic Baby Booties
I decided to do my own little crocheting of baby booties and came up with these.
These are what I consider, 'classics' as if you look up baby booties, you usually come across these (next to the plain 'sock' verisons). Many people consider these 'sandals' but unless there's open toes, I think of these as more of a 'dress' shoe.
I have multiple colors to choose from but this type of design is better with a black, red, or white. So I designed them with white soles and then a blended red overall color. I thought about doing a solid red at first but then I thought the blend would bring more of a 'balance' to the overall look and I think the blend came out rather well!
I'll probably redo this design later with adding a button to the middle strap or another flower accent... just a little something extra to add to the overall finish.
So let me know what you all think! I'm always opened to criticism!
