Classic Baby Booties

 

I decided to do my own little crocheting of baby booties and came up with these.

These are what I consider, 'classics' as if you look up baby booties, you usually come across these (next to the plain 'sock' verisons).   Many people consider these 'sandals' but unless there's open toes, I think of these as more of a 'dress' shoe.

I have multiple colors to choose from but this type of design is better with a black, red, or white.  So I designed them with white soles and then a blended red overall color.  I thought about doing a solid red at first but then I thought the blend would bring more of a 'balance' to the overall look and I think the blend came out rather well!

I'll probably redo this design later with adding a button to the middle strap or another flower accent... just a little something extra to add to the overall finish.
