Crochet Baby Boots

Size 2 Toddler Baby Booties

Baby Booties are one of the all time favorite things to make.

If you have a child, or are planning on having one, the first thing you look at, are the tiny little shoes, booties and socks.  Even people without children can't help but squeal when they find a tiny piece of clothing meant for a baby, that looks like it'd even be too small for a baby doll.

Many adult women like to comment on baby clothes, quoting "I wish they made clothes this cute in my size!" and Baby Booties are no exception.

Baby Booties are basically socks that are designed to look like shoes.  They have a sole to start with, and then are styled into boots, sneakers, sandals, or slippers.

They might look simple, but they're a lot more complicated to make.

These ones in particular are a 3.75 inches from heel to toe, which means they are a size 2 Toddler.

But here comes the really neat part about baby booties.  This might be a size 2, but because they can stretch, they could easily fit a size 1 and you could even squeeze them on a size 3 because they can be stretched to a size 4.15 inches (Size 3 toddler).

Well these are my first attempt at Baby Booties and I say they came out better then I could expected.

I'm going to be working on making more booties in the future too!

As you can see, these ones come with little accented flowers on the outside of the bootie as well, and this goes back to the beginning when I was making just flower accents!  These ones are much smaller then ones I make and sell on Etsy.com right now, but little ones like these really help give booties, scarves, and little hats that extra little something to make them stand out!

Keep and eye out for more designs here in the future, and let me know what you think of these!

Have a good one everyone!
